Backup Repeater

The overhaul and upgrades of both the 146.790 and 146.910 repeaters includes using parts from the old repeaters to make a backup repeater.  The idea is that we will have a spare repeater in case the normal repeaters are out of service.  All of the fancy extras, such as autopatch, DVR, remotes, may not be available, but the repeater will be up.

The spare repeater is actually the GE MASTRII that was in service at the 146.790 repeater for about 20 years.  Red, K0RAJ, has worked over the MASTRII so that it can be used for a spare repeater.  As part of the repeater overhaul, Red is standardizing the connectors so that the spare repeater can be placed in service in a short period of time.
