224.100 Fairfax City Repeater

The “224.100” machine resides with 146.790 atop the Massey Building in Fairfax City, VA. A GaAsFET preamplifier and Kendecom receiver make up the input. Transmission is through a Kendecom transmitter and a 100-watt RF Power MOSFET amplifier. A four-cavity Celwave duplexer and Sinclair 6db gain collinear antenna round out the package. The autopatch and controller are controlled by the CAT-1000 that also controls the 146.79 repeater. There is no PL tone on the input or output of the repeater.
